My Niece Comes To Visit

by Chansoda on June 18, 2013

Haven’t seen her since I went to Seattle when I was a young teenager, she was only 2 or 3 years old then. Now she’s a young woman! Took her to explore a little bit of NYC. Check out the photos I documented of her first NYC visit.

Makeover.

by Chansoda on June 5, 2013

We moved in to our new place in a small lake community back in December. We definitely weren’t feeling the dark and dungy wood paneling, luckily, paint solved everything. Took a lot of time, but in the end, it was well worth it. Check it out…

Royal Ballet of Cambodia

by Chansoda on May 3, 2013

I had the privilege to take my mother and Karla to see the Royal Ballet of Cambodia perform at BAM. It was an amazing show and gave me such great pride that Cambodia was able to revive this art that was almost completely annihilated. Mom was so happy to see the dance also, it got her talking about the culture and history of Cambodia how she remembered it before the war. It was great to see her being able to enjoy this piece of our culture
