Thanking my gf for surprising me with this.

and it actually sharpens really well. Cool looking and functional. Love it.

Starting a yearly tradition with my best friend coming up with ideas for their family holiday cards. This year’s theme,”naughty or nice, which list are you on?” I get to be on the nice list, because hey, I dedicated my time to creating these things with this adorable family!

We had a small window to get everything set up, so we have a makeshift studio. Peyton’s (the little guy) face is hilarious.

Busy Bee Halloween

Happy Halloween. Or in Holly’s case, not so happy. The costume didn’t stay on too long. We were trying to be “Pollination,” Holly was the bee and Karla and I would be flowers.

So, she’s not a fan of this, but it’s just too darn funny.

Birthday Vineyard Trip

Our friends Krista and Francia came back up from the city for another vineyard trip joining my besties, Jeannine and Sally! This time we went up to New Preston, CT’s Lake Waramaug to celebrate a duo Charla birthday. Overlooking the lake is Hopkin’s Vineyard, such great place! Plenty of people, live music was playing, and the colors of the leaves were at their best. Grabbed a bottle of wine and picnicked outside with some snacks. Great view, beautiful day, awesome company. Can you tell how excited we are (jumping pictures define excitement)??

I actually started out the day with a photoshoot for this really adorable family in the morning. After the vineyard, we headed to my mom’s house for a party and introduced Francia and Krista to the Khmer community. My brother ended up proposing to his girlfriend (finally) at the party. Wedding officially coming in July.

Working from home to avoid driving in this weather and a penguin came to play in the yard. 🙂

Holly thinks because I’m home today, I’m supposed to be her play buddy all day (this dog has so much energy but I love it), so she kept bringing me ornaments off the christmas tree (which is not cool). I’m glad she encourages me to take breaks from work to play a little, though she is not happy with this dress up.
